Drummachine – I’m not going to tell you what this is about. All I can say is it’s unique in every way, and there’s music involved. Drummachine was created by tokyoplastic, a creative design/video/illustration team from Japan that has an official merchandise shop. Drummachine is but one project this gifted team has created. I advise you to explore the rest of tokyoplastic’s creative work.

Soccer Balls – Kick the ball to make the referee angry, but do it wisely: yo will have to watch for the projected ballistic motion of the ball and plan your kick accordingly. As you advance, you will learn that the ball can break things, move other stuff, and you’ll often have to perform within a limited time frame.

Soccer World Cup 2010 – Select your national team and compete in  Soccer World Cup 2010 tournament. A beautiful graphics and great gameplay with tackles, fouls, extra times and penalties. You must qualify in your group to compete the final phase of the World Cup.

Bird Pax – Earn as many cards and wingspan as you can! “Pax” is created when both players’ cards are of the same family and/or value. You can use a “BringAlong” card to aid another from the same family. The more you advance in levels, the more wingspan you will have to accumulate in order to win.

Trafalgar Origins – Take command of a Royal Navy ship and her crew, to go to battle in historical recreations of Napoleonic naval battles.

Catch the Moon – Jump from planets to planets to reach the moon. Be careful of the gravitation (depending of the size of the planets), the orbiting planets and the black holes.

Release the Mooks – What are Mooks? They are fluffy, fuzzy little creatures who love to be stacked, fed, protected or thrown, just like everyone one of us.

Speed Escape 3 – There are 3 different areas that you must escape. You have 5 minutes to escape each area.

Tank Destroyer 2 – The topdown tank game continues with an amazing sequal: 9 new missions, 3 new environments (desert, town and winter) New types of enemies, especially the foot soldiers are fun to drive over.

Hardball Frenzy – Bounce the ball away in this skill-phuzzler game. ‘Hardball Frenzy’ is a challenging mix of orb shooter and pinball.

Hack N Mod – Hacks, DIY’s and mods have become more important now than in the past, with today’s advanced technology. Cooler and smarter phones, more powerful and upgraded PC and Mac operating systems have their benefits, no question there. Take advantage of the site’s numerous tutorials, tips and yes, tricks to learn how to create a cool device from old electronics you’re not using anymore, or make your mobile phone and PC work for you, in style. 500px – This amazing portfolio site will serve both professional photographers and users seeking fine feasts for the eyes. 500px is a beautifully designed and easy to use online photo portfolio platform. All you have to do is browse the works of the artists who chose to use the site to acknowledge that top talent, married with top service and style, is a great combination. 500px is a Canadian company whose team is, you guessed it, professional photographers. You are not a professional photographer? 500px still wants you nosing around because they are counting on your votes and comments.

To start exploring the amazing talent that lies in 500px, I suggest that you check out the Popular section or Editors’ Choice, or both. To create your own photography portfolio, start by registering. The two photos below by Liudmia Wilchevskaya (cat photo) and Katerina Sokova (portrait, titled “Shadow”) were my favorites. Important: Please note that some photos showcased on this site include mild nudity.

Listal – Why list stuff? Because now it’s fun and easier than ever. What’s so special about Listal? According to them, their site is “a place to list, rate, tag and review movies, TV shows, music, games and books.” Add the social community and wiki-like user editing features and you have one of the Web’s best resources for entertainment recommendations.

Some of the lists here are practical, as in stuff you’ll enjoy doing such as reading a recommended book, but there are also lists users created just because they can. See what I mean? Overall however, Listal is a great bundle of suggestions for having a good time. I took advantage of their DVD listings page, offering anything from top owned, top wanted DVDs to top tags (genres in this case, and comedy is right at the top), to top rated and top reviewed DVDs. Chictopia – This is a must style and trend setting site to keep in your RSS list this year. Chictopia is a super cool and super stylish (naturally) fashion/styling website that has already caught the attention of related media publication giants (NY Times, Style.com and Glamour to name a few). So what will you find here at Chictopia? Plenty of styles, clothing items and accessories you will crave and wish you had the money to buy them all. Visit the site’s various pages, such as the Style Gallery to get inspired with new styles and working-it ideas. One of the coolest features on Chictopia I just love is the Swap page. Want to upgrade those old pumps? Feel like letting go of your year’s old little black dress? Great! Swap them for something new!

The A.V. Club – Forget about the usual TV, movies, music and books guides. They’re just downright boring. The A.V. Club on the other hand is THE entertainment resource you should tune into from now on. Standing for Audiovisual, the A.V. Club is the lovely creation of the satire media giant The Onion, and has always been enclosed in the Paper’s printed edition. But don’t be fooled by The Onion’s nonsense reputation; “The A.V. Club features real interviews, reviews, and other entertainment-related articles.”

The site’s sexy interface, the sublime content and the hundreds of entries in each category (updated on a daily basis) make the A.V. Club, in my opinion, the best entertainment spot currently on the Web. It’s as simple as that. Pick your preferred entertainment category (film, music, TV, books, games, dvd and features) and tap into the issues that are worth your spare time and interest. Movie Posters Archive – I’m sure you have your own list of all-time favorite movies. Who doesn’t? My top five are Amélie, Pulp Fiction, The Matrix (first of the trilogy), American Beauty and O Brother, Where Art Thou? I could watch each of these movies a hundred times without falling out of love with them. Having that said, if the movie’s advertising poster is a good one, it’s the perfect romanticized experience of the movie itself, and it’s all you need to reminisce in your favorite film’s moments and exquisite scripts. Movie Posters Archive offers a huge database of such posters advertising the classic box office hits as well as the not-so-known yet wonderful recent as well as decade’s old films.

Here are a couple of posters I relished on while I was browsing the site’s archive, and these are two movies I remember watching as a young girl who was blown away by the special effects…

Epic Fail – This is yet another Cheezburger blog focused on people’s bloopers of real life. Here you will find the usual accidents, stupid driving, falling and breaking, and bumping into stuff you would expect. Despite the low expectations, the Epic Fail will still make you laugh at the misfortune of others, thanks to its regularly updated stock of funny videos and photos. I need to warn you though: some users might find parts of the content on Epic Fail offensive, as it may include nudity and depict people in sexual contexts. Viewer’s discretion is advised.

Prison Valley – Canon City, Colorado is nicknamed Prison Valley as it is the site of 9 state and four federal prisons. The Prison Valley web documentary offers an interactive glimpse into this unusual Colorado area which is, according to the film, an entire community that has sprung up as a result of and around the prisons. Although the actual facts and numbers presented in the film may be the subject of debate and controversy, this web documentary is a first of its kind creation in terms of its HD quality and superb editing.

The film stops intermittently to allow users to interact with the environment and browse around to learn more about Canon City in an engaging way, which is really cool in my opinion. To see the entire movie, you will need to sign in with your Twitter or Facebook account, but once the movie starts, you can choose just how interactive you want to be all the way through. So what’s my verdict? Regardless of your position on the prison-industrial complex issue, I recommend exploring this well executed creative Web project.

Destructo Truck – You must destroy whatever you find along the way using your truck if you want to get cash to upgrade your monster wheels. This game is destruction heaven on earth. Make sure you hit the right arrow key when the light turns green – you’ll thank me later.
