Doodle Flix – In a similar way that the Academy voters when choosing the Oscar winners this year will be talking about ‘The Artist’ as a loving homage to a film genre long since obsolete (see it by the way if you haven’t already, it’s brilliant!)… Doodle Flix could be seen in the not-so-distant future as a loving homage to the way we used to receive films with Netflix through the post, in that iconic red envelope!

I personally recommend watching the soundbites of Ron Paul, Rick Perry & Mitt Romney for the politicos; and if you want to see Michael Buble taking an, erm, interesting new musical direction, there’s a great video on there for you too… I’m confident you’ll like this 🙂
Dear reader,
This may actually be the nicest place on the internet! I don’t want to give too much away about it… All I’ll say is that first, you need the sound on (or headphones in if you’re having a break at work); and second, make sure your internet is quick enough to play short Youtube videos.
I’ve just spent five minutes on it, and I think I may have stumbled upon one of the most sincerely sweet websites I’ve seen in a long, long time. It’s lovely and I GUARANTEE you’ll be sporting a nice wide smile because of it. Click here to go to the nicest place on the internet! Especially recommended if you’re feeling a bit down.
Nitro Type is a free, real-time, worldwide, online racing game that helps you improve your typing. It’s pretty simple: enter a race on the site; control a car against other real people from around the World; win the race by typing the fastest: as you increase the speed of your typing, you increase the speed of your car!
It’s a novel, fun way to track your ‘words-per-minute’ rate; and you also will notice yourself improving your touch typing speed over time, as you’re forced to read the rather complicated sentences the game gives you to type out. The only downside is that it really is quite tricky at times, but then I think that may have been down to my typing skills than the game being too hard! Still, it’s definitely fun and worth a quick try if you want to know your official typing speed! Click here or on the pic below to get racing…
Quiz Factor – Now who doesn’t like a good quiz. I know my friends already addicted to online quiz site and weekly fave alumnus Sporcle definitely do; and well Quiz Factor is simply a fun, free addition to the online quiz world, with added tricky timing twists… It’s got a quiz for anything, from Harry Potter Trivia to Guessing the real names of Actors. Which makes it good in my books!
Quiz Factor’s added value really comes out in the social side of the site: You can compare your scores on the community leaderboards, and you also have the opportunity to enter into some great prize draws just for playing and getting a few correct answers! Click here or on the preview pic below to get your trivia head on and play some fun, free quizzes.
