Corksharing lets you schedule and book wine tasting reservations and tours from wineries all over the world.
If you’re a wine drinker, there’s no better experience than visiting a vineyard and tasting wine directly from the source. Corksharing is a platform that lets you find those experiences, booking a tasting in advance. The site asks visitors a simple question: “Where do you want to taste?” After entering any location — although you’ll probably have more luck by entering Napa or somewhere in France — the site returns a list of results. You can look through options based on location using the map — which takes up the left half of the page — or by browsing through all the results on the site’s other half.
Each wine tasting experience on Corksharing contains reviews, as well as the opportunity to book a trip directly using the built-in platform. Prices are typically low — around $15/person — and you can choose the date, time and amount of guests that will be joining you. If you’re planning a wine tour in one of the world’s wine regions, using Corksharing in order to secure your spot on a tasting or tour can provide a level of comfort and security. It’s useful to know that you’re tasting is all paid for and ready to go. All you have to do is show up and start sipping wine. Not bad.
