Furlocity provides access to the best pet care services and accommodations.
Furlocity helps pet-owners find boarding centers, veterinarians and pet-friendly hotels in locations around the world. The site is essentially like Kayak or Priceline for pet-owners, as it has an intuitive, advanced search feature that helps users enter specific dates, details and locations before returning a list of results. As of now, the site only finds hotels or veterinarians for dogs and cats, so owners of more exotic pets are out of luck. For more traditional pet-owners, however, it’s an incredibly useful service, especially if you’re traveling and having difficulty finding a place that’ll accept your four-legged friend(s). You can also specify the number of pets that you have, if you’re the owner of multiple dogs and/or cats.
After conducting a search, when Furlocity returns its list of results, there’s the option to further filter those results by distance or price. The site does return one or two featured options — such as a dog resort that’s a sponsor to the site — but the rest of the listings are easily scrollable. Prices are also clearly displayed, and booking can be done from entirely within Furlocity’s system. The site has a ton of other cool features that make it comparable to hotel booking sites designed for humans, such as a map view and the ability to share listings to receive discounts on bookings. It’s a smart way for pet-owners to find trusting businesses that provide the best services for their animal companions.
