Golfscape is the online destination for golf lovers throughout the world. The site has a comprehensive list of courses in locations spread across several countries. Each course comes with a list of the most important information regarding the course. There are pictures, biographical information regarding the course, a map of the course’s location, and even a weather forecast. Golfscape also lists the grass type, number of holes, par of the course, length of the course, course designer, type and length. The amenities of each course (such as caddy / golf carts, lessons, dining, locker rooms, etc.) are also listed on the page for every course. There’s also the opportunity to read and submit reviews for courses, although that feature doesn’t appear to be quite so popular yet.
Golfscape was designed with the understanding that many golfers are businessmen or other traveling individuals that want to visit a new course in new locations throughout the world.
With that in mind, the site was designed like a search engine. When you first arrive at the Golfscape homepage, you’re presented with a search bar that asks you to “search by golf destination, course or keyword.” Whatever you type in returns a huge list of results, each with specific information. If you don’t want to search for specific keywords, you can also browse courses by locations (which are categorized by continent). If you’re planning a trip somewhere and want to golf while you’re there, you should definitely check Golfscape first. If you’re the owner of the course, you can also easily have that added to the site’s lengthy list of other locations.
