The site connects female entrepreneurs with markets, capital and advice, allowing users to shop for products, raise money for their endeavors and obtain advice accordingly. The site has a huge database of female investors, as it believes the connection between entrepreneurs of products or services that cater to the women’s marketplace are best understood and supported by women. Plum Alley makes it easy to connect with these potential investors. The site also includes a digital map that highlights the headquarters all of the female-owned (at least 51% percent female-owned) companies around the globe. The site is truly making strides to highlight the successes of female entrepreneurs and encourage the continued success of those of that gender.
