Spoken.ly is a platform that allows users to create, collects and share inspiring quotes.
Spoken.ly is a simplistic social network based around the creation and sharing of inspiring quotes. 
The quotes can be attributed to a particular author or famous historical figure, but they can also be created by users. The way quotes are displayed is similar to social networking apps like Secret, in which large-font text is displayed over an image. Both the text and image options are fully customizable within Spoken.ly’s parameters, and there is also a wide variety of templates to choose from. One of the major limitations of Spoken.ly is that users can only create an account using Facebook, although many might view that one-click log-in experience as a convenience instead.
Similar to other social networking sites, users can “follow” other users. When you make a new quote, that quote is published on the site and seen by all of your subscribers. Spoken.ly also uses hashtags, making it easier to browse quotes by topic. 
Popular topics include “cute,” “Famousquotes,” and “GoodAdvice.” In another move similar to social networks like Twitter and Instagram, Spoken.ly users can also “Requote” posts from other users to share with their own followers. Although the qualifications for quotes is relatively broad (as you don’t necessarily have to attribute them to a particular individual), most of the quotes are uplifting and inspiring. The social network offers a positive alternative to many comparable social networks, making for an overall enjoyable experience for those that like sharing and creating the world’s greatest quotes.
