Youfitness is a hand-picked collection of the best free fitness and workout videos available on YouTube.
We’ve highlighted tons of incredible fitness sites on this blog, so by now you’re probably aware that there are tons of opportunities online to help you learn how to get in shape and exercise better. One of the most invaluable online fitness resources has always been YouTube, as it’s filled with tons of great, free instructional videos. YouFitness takes advantage of that content, creating a hand-picked collection of free videos. The site is like a virtual personal fitness assistant, asking you what type of workout you want to do and then directing you to the best videos available on YouTube.
YouFitness has a simple layout, displaying ten embedded videos on each page. The site lets you filter the videos by type — pilates, cardio, core, resistance, flexibility, abs, arm, legs, butt, full body, upper body, and yoga. It also lets you search by duration, from a 5 minute workout to an hour-long workout. There are multiple pages of videos for each type of workout and duration, but all of the clips are chosen to ensure that they’re high-quality and informative. For fitness instructors or generous users, there’s also a submission form to suggest videos you want to see featured on the site. For those looking for regular fitness video updates, there’s also the opportunity to subscribe to the site’s Tumblr-hosted blog.
