Bitters + Bottles is a monthly subscription box service that delivers cocktail ingredients as well as instructions on how to make a variety of classic drinks. 
The order in which Bitters + Bottles sends types of liquor and added ingredients has been organized in a calculated way, intended to build upon itself on a monthly basis. The bottles you receive one month, for instance, will typically also be used in the next month’s recipe. This ensures that you’re steadily building a well-stocked bar while learning how to make the most of it.
Bitters + Bottles is also a brick-and-mortar boutique liquor store located in San Francisco’s Old Town. 
The store stocks more than 1,000 bottles of spirits, which are hand-selected for the subscription box service. All of the bottles used are full-sized, and each box contains 5-6 ingredients as well as 5 cocktail recipes. For those that are interested in the store’s many types of liquor but not willing to sign up for a subscription service, Bitters + Bottles also has an online shop in which individual bottles can be purchased. Considering the prices of many of the bottles, the subscription service is not a bad deal. At $95/month, however, it’s still pretty pricey. For those looking to build a home bar while learning to perfect classic cocktail recipes, of course, it’s worth it.
