When you fund a shirt on TeePublic you are committing to buy it if it reaches a 30-shirt goal. That means 30 people need to fund it in 30 days or the shirt won’t get made and no one gets a t-shirt. You can fund a shirt as many times as you choose, just remember if the shirt reaches its goal your committing to buy a shirt for each time you funded it. So if you fund one shirt 10 times, you’ve bought 10 shirts.
When you follow a designer it means you want to keep up with their work on TeePublic. Every time they upload a new design on TeePublic you will be notified via email so you can be one of the first to check it out. You’ll also get updates when one of the designers you follow gets funded or is getting close. Following designers is a great way to stay up to date on great new designs on TeePublic. Most shirts on TeePublic are printed using Direct To Garment, which is a super high tech digital print technique. The best machines in the business are used by TeePublic and ensure an extremely high quality print. If your design sells more than 144 units in a month they might opt to screen-print it.
Upload a design on TeePublic.com using the design template. You’ll immediately get your own product page where your design is for sale. Then, it’s up to you to get 30 people to “fund” your design within 30 days. If you succeed, TeePublic will print your design and ship it out to everyone who funded it. There is no limit on how many designs you can sell and once your design is funded, it can stay on the site for good. You’ll get $5 for every shirt you sell. Once your design reaches its goal and goes to print, TeePublic will send you an email and will ask you to re-format your design so it’s “print ready.” That’s it, you’re done.
