No More Snooze lets you live out your alarm clock revenge fantasies in a variety of inventive ways.
No More Snooze begins with an intro explaining how the alarm clock is the most annoying thing in the world. The site then begins beeping as if it’s an alarm clock, which is, indeed, the most annoying thing in the world. Then the exciting part begins. You get your revenge by clicking the “No More Snooze” button, after which the alarm clock is destroyed in one of many satisfying ways: smashed with a hammer, put in a blender, or turned into a frog with a magic wand. It’s a funny way to waste time while looking at some cool animations and design work.
It also does feel good to smash alarm clocks, carrying out your digital revenge on the product that’s so annoying each morning. Although you could spend a while going through the various methods of alarm clock destruction, No More Snooze was actually designed as a promotional tool for Withings, a health care product company. Withings is promoting the Withings Aura, a sleep monitoring system designed to track and improve your sleeping habits. The idea, according to Withings, is that if you use the Aura you’ll no longer need an alarm clock, and you can smash it with a hammer or put it into a blender instead. There’s also tons more information about sleep cycles and habits on the No More Snooze site, if you want to learn more while you get your alarm clock revenge.
