We have completed our transition to the new design to create an even better All My Faves experience, on our homepage, the site’s various content pages and on your personalized MyFaves pages. So what does the new design mean to you? Well, first and foremost, the revamped website and the new menus give you quick and easy access to all the content available on AllMyFaves. In addition, we’ve made the entire collection of our designated Mini Faves pages available to you in one easy menu click. Whatever area you are interested in, simply hover over ‘Mini Faves’ and the entire list will appear (ordered alphabetically) – see it below.

Looking for some of the pages you loved visiting in the previous design version of All My Faves? You can find them all, simply hover your mouse over ‘Categories’ and you will get to your favorite games, blogs, education, business, entertainment pages in no time.

The faveline includes a top-notch lineup of insightful websites and blogs addressing better and healthier living, great food, tips for a saner state of mind in a busy, chaotic world, style and culture, and great hacks for a soothing atmosphere at home.

You can access the Lifestyle faveline by going to Blogs and scrolling down alphabetically to “L.” Clicking the faveline’s title will prompt you the Mini Faves page where you will find many more better living resources you don’t want to miss!

Brand New Games Faveline: Flight. Airplanes, flight simulators, landing strips – we’ve got it all here in this fresh-out-of-the-box faveline and category page, especially for you! We’ve got Naval Strike, Sim Air Traffic, Helistorm 2 and many many others! Roger that.

In addition to the Best Sites of 2010 voting event, All My Faves also held a Best Games of 2010 competition. You played them throughout the year, and your votes nailed down the 40 nominees to 10 winners. Here they are (click the images to play them again):

Vote for the Best Games of 2010 – It’s the second year now that we’ve been keeping the ‘Best of the year’ voting tradition, and even though the voting for the Best Sites of 2010 is already closed (winners will be announced later today), the voting event for the Best Games of 2010 will continue until Wednesday, December 29.

Top Sites of 2010 – It’s that time of the year again, and we have the ultimate ‘Best of 2010’ face-off for you to participate in. It took us many hours of hard work and clamorous debates, but we’ve finally managed to narrow down the 40 Weekly Fave finalists for you to choose from as the best of 2010.

AMF’s Happy Holidays – I’ve already talked about this super holidays page on several occasions these past weeks, mostly as the ultimate hot deal grabbing page, and a good source for gift ideas (again, I recommend checking out the For Her and For Him categories). But the All My Faves Holidays page is not only about gifts, it’s also about making this holiday season a great time for family moments.

Cooking for the holidays is a special occasion in and of itself, and that is why you’ll find on this Holidays page amazing recipes resources and great cookbooks – under Cooking. Other great favelines to check out for good holiday times are Hanukkah & Kwanzaa, and Holiday Spirit. Cyber Monday, or should I say Cyber Week deals are still alive and kicking at every major online retailer store, some even lasting until Saturday, Dec 4 (see Amazon for example). Even if you have already found the perfect gifts for all the people you care about, what about you? We are curious to know what’s on your wishlist? Thanks to the semi-national events of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, finding gifts at attractive prices is all but impossible. Sure, you can stand in line at 5 A.M., waiting out in the cold for your favorite retailer store to open its doors, but you don’t have to. There’s a much saner option: Shopping online. That is exactly what I’m going to do tomorrow, in the comfort of my warm apartment, my Internet connection and the All My Faves Holidays page.

As for the gifts I’m going to buy online this season, I have prepared a killer list that perfectly pampers all of my friends and family members, and all of these are bestsellers, so I thought I would share these with you. If you’re still debating about the right gift for someone in your family, check out this list and perhaps you will be inspired.

1. For all the ladies in my life: The Holidays page offers two knock-out categories people are visiting like crazy: ‘For Her’ and ‘For Him.’ But ladies first, as they say, so here we go: For my sister I’m going for the fail-proof UGG boots, and for my cooking-savvy mom, a ‘Le Creuset’ cast iron cooking set. Grandma will get a pair of Isotoner gloves along with the plush Sunbeam fleece throw, and for my best friend Rebecca I’m buying Sarah Jessica Parker’s Lovely perfume gift set.

2. For dad, my brothers and my beau: For my two brothers I’m getting a Kenneth Cole watch and a poker set, respectively. And what about my dad who is absolutely addicted to cycling? I think I’ll get him a set of a WearLink transmitter belt + heart rate and cadence monitor computer by Polar – he’ll be ecstatic! My boyfriend, who has grown mildly obsessed with PS3 games, will get the bestselling video games Call of Duty: Black Ops, and the FIFA 2011 he’s been raving about for the past couple of weeks.

That’s a good starting point. I’m also going to indulge myself in a nice holiday gift, but I’m still debating whether I should get the Wii Fit set (yes, part of my New Year resolution), or the e-Book reader everyone’s been raving about, the Kindle. We can’t believe it ourselves, but AllMyFaves is now four years old. The website has seen so many changes since 2006 in terms of both design and functionality, it makes us feel proud just as parents are filled with joy watching their little baby turning into a young man.

So what are some of the major changes AllMyFaves 2010/2011 includes, compared to the site’s earlier versions? First and foremost, we have the Mini Faves feature (see the example below), the personalization tool allowing users to manage and access all of their bookmarks and favorites in one visual page. This tool is extremely popular and in high use, with more than  13,000 active accounts.

Other major changes include the recent additions of designated pages (notably the Education and Business pages), a new design -currently live in All My Faves Canada, our Blogs page and the spanking new Holidays page – the ultimate shopping center for all the best Black November, Cyber Monday and Christmas shopping. By the way, the new design is coming to our US homepage very soon! Aside from these big changes, numerous new favelines have been added to practically every page on the site.

So these are the major developments AllMyFaves has seen in the past couple of years, and we would like to thank you, our devoted users, for being there every step of the way.
