Soundtrckr – This music Web 2.0 central aims to be your one stop for all your music needs. Soundtrckr is a free music service that allows you to tune in to more than 10 million (!) songs which you can listen to, mix into a customized playlist and share it all round. Other cool features from this free service include real-time music listening with friends in different locations, and finding gigs of your favorite artists near you.

Sign in and be sure to install the mobile version as well so you could enjoy all the Soundtrckr goodness on the go. There really isn’t another music hub with such an emphasis on social networks. Give it a try!

Crushable – Here’s another entertainment website that vows to be different from what’s out there. According to their About page, “Crushable–smart, funny and genuine–combines celebrity news, style and a wide spectrum of content that appeals to an engaged, entertainment-obsessed audience.” Crushable’s entertainment coverage consists of four main categories; Entertainment, Style, Relationships (those of celebrities), and Other Stuff.

Cupcakes and Cashmere – This delightful blog- a winning Weekly Blog here on All My Faves- combines sophisticated style with inspiring home decor tips and savory recipes. Yes, the top fashion-home-kitchen content is well represented in Cupcakes and Cashmere and Emily, the gorgeous woman behind it, does an excellent job at creating top quality content (that includes photography).

The style theme in Cupcakes and Cashmere consists of Emily’s regularly updated photos of herself, cleverly dressed in a different outfit each time. She also points to makeup and cosmetic must-haves, which is always a nice thing to have to keep up with the latest trends. Start exploring the wonders of Cupcakes and Cashmere, and be sure to check out the How-To page which I found extremely useful (thanks Emily!). siteInspire – At first glance you won’t necessarily understand what this site is about, yet you will find yourself compelled to explore it nonetheless, and you’ll thank yourself for doing so. siteIsnpire is a “showcase and CSS gallery featuring the best web design today, designed, developed and curated by kulör.”

siteInspire brings you a visual survey of the latest advances, styles and talent in contemporary Web design. Even if you’re not a professional working in this industry you will appreciate the beauty and diversity of the siteIsnpire gallery. White Whine – Sometimes bitching about our dire situation makes us feel better. White Whine, “a collection of first-word problems,” shows what are the most burning predicaments of the contemporary American society. White Whine does so by surveying the Web and picking out the best sarcastic aphorisms. You’ll find lots of interesting, mostly funny entries here, ranging from the hilarious to the absurd. Either way it’s entertainment! Here are two examples.

Clay Yourself – This super cute feature by Hotels.com invites users to create their very own clay avatar, and up until recently, users could pitch their hardened creation to the Hotels.com contest – chosen winner will star in Hotels.com’s advertisement. Although the Clay Yourself contest has ended you can still use this tool to see just how you would look in clay form.

To create your own clay avatar, simply hit Get Started and follow the different steps of choosing your facial features, dress and accessories. If you’ve played the Wii game before, it’s just like creating your character there. When you’re done don’t forget to share your new you with friends! This is a lot of fun – look at my clay avatar. What a looker missed out on the contest!

Sushi Cat 2 – If you’re a big fan of the original Sushi Cat game, you’ll love this game (you will also find this game and its varieties on smartphones – they’re very popular). Your objective is to drop the cat where you think it will eat as many sushi bites as possible on its way down to the sushi boxes. Instagram – Taking pictures with the iPhone is fun in and of itself, but there’s a free app that takes creating and sharing photos to a whole new level: Instagram. Even if you’re not too keen on sharing your photos, Instagram will open new photographic horizons for you.

Once you’ve signed up, take any picture. Next is where the Instagram magic lies; choose from a variety of photo filters to see how your seemingly ordinary photo is immediately upgraded. If you want to instantly share your photos, you can via Facebook and Twitter. All My Faves NPO – We are excited to announce the launch of All My Faves’ brand new Non-Profit Organization page (NPO). There is nothing quite like it on the Web and our team of editors had painstakingly reviewed and filtered out the most reliable and effective NPOs out there to create this special page.

Grovo – This online video hub is, simply put, an efficient site discovery tool. Intended for the amateur, average and savvy Internet users alike, Grovo offers video lessons that show you the exact how-to when it comes to searching for websites of your needs and areas of interest. How does Grovo produce its content? Their content is “professionally produced, in-house, by our staff of writers, editors and voiceover talent. All content is extensively researched and crafted prior to production; once produced, content is regularly updated to maintain relevancy.”

How does it work? You can dive right into the site’s colossal video lessons section, or you can consult Grovo’s glossary in case you’ve stumbled upon an unfamiliar Web term, and then proceed to see a relevant video. Another option to test your Web knowledge is to explore Grovo’s Quiz section. Grovo is a terrific service, although currently only a part of its video collection is open to free viewing  – there’s a 7-day free trial after which you will have to pick one of their paid subscription tracks (annual, monthly and enterprise) if you wish to have access to all of Grovo’s content.

Despite the payment hindrance (hey, sometimes high quality things will cost you), Grovo is a great Web search aid worth exploring. See this video showing how to block pop-ups for example.

Broadcastr – Twitter and Facebook to some extent serve as a central stage of personal expression, no doubt there. But as I feel you would agree, personal expressions of ‘I dig that’ or ‘happy to be online again’ hardly count as a meaningful expression in my book. Don’t get me wrong; I admire social networks and online statuses’ concept, but it seems many users take advantage of these to share rather trivial statements that lack authentic inspiration.
