It wasn’t simple to narrow it down but we did it. We are glad to present you with AllMyFaves best of the year. Enjoy. Looking forward to see you tuned in with AllMyFaves for 2008!

Songza Songza – If you have trouble using your microwave, it’s not because you’re “not good with technology” — it’s because the people in charge of designing the interface for that microwave didn’t do their job right. Songza has nothing to do with microwaves however it is such a great, clean, simple and efficient music search site that the above metaphor is requested. Songza has been created by Aza Raskin the son of Apple Macintosh founder – Jef Raskin, apparently The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Songza lets you access an insane amount of music. Enjoy.

JackYou Don’t Know Jack – YDKJ has been here since the 1990s when it was “just” a computer game. The Game is meant to resemble a television game show, in that players compete for money by answering trivia questions that are combined with humor, it is said that YDKJ is a place where high culture and pop culture collide. The internet version is hosted phenomenally by one of the original hosts – Cookie Masterson. And if you don’t like trivia, just tell jack – Don’t tell me what to do!

5min 5min – The idea behind 5min is very simple, any solution can be visually explained in no more than 5 minutes. On 5min you can find short video solutions for practical questions. From How to get people to call you back and on to How to Properly Use a Kitchen Knife. I am not sure all videos are 100% practical but it is definetly worth checking. Similar sites include: VideoJug, Fix It Club and Instructables.

Twitter Twitter – It is said that micro-blogging is the next biggest trend. The simple idea of Twitter is to express what you are doing right now, in 140 characters or less. Twitter is by far the best service out there, it is simple, fast and an effective way to keep up2date with friends near and far. You can do it online or via sms on your mobile. To sum it up Twitter is a mix between social networks and chatting. The truth I don’t really know why I need this, I have IM, e-mail and a facebook profile. But I have decided that if Twitter is the next trend, I will be part of it … Come follow me http://twitter.com/shacharp and I’ll follow you too… Lets discover the new trend together.

Simpsons The Simpsons Movie – The Simpsons Movie budget was $75 million. My question is: With such a huge budget, can they produce a bad site?? No!!!The Simpsons site is incredible!!! The site is one of the funnest, coolest sites I have ever visited. The voices, animation, layout, games and avatar creations section have all been carried out perfectly. Fox registered the domain name “Simpsonsmovie.com” in 1997, a full nine years before the film was finally greenlighted. I think it was worth the wait, my father always told me – Good things come for those who wait!!

Stuff StuffHave you ever wondered where does our stuff come from and where does it go and will it end one day or will we always be able to produce more and more …. Stuff is a 20 minutes video that takes you through the underside of our production and consumption patterns. Stuff has been executed unexceptionable. The animation is simple, the narration is clear, the plot of the story holds you fascinated and above all it’ll make you laugh, and it just may change the way you look at all the stuff in your life forever. It seems that except for recycling and maybe walking instead of taking the car, we as individuals don’t have an impact on the world – WRONG !!!! Watch the video and you will discover many ways you can help the environment, for example – Shop Less – Yes, you heard me, it sounds odd however it really does have an impact. Are you a facebook member – Join the Stop Global Warming cause. Please watch the vid, you won’t regret it.

Doof Doof Gaming and social networks are both hugely time consuming when it comes to the web. Doof takes both of these concepts and puts them together. Doof is a new social playground in which everyone can play casual flash based games while socializing with friends and sharing their thoughts and experiences. Doof has been reviewed fully on our blog. We like it. Do you?

Get Human GetHuman – We are in the era of computers, progress, innovation and everything is so fast and technical. But sometimes, you just want to talk to a human. You don’t have the patience going through all machine stages, only to discover that the last availabe option is to talk to a human operator – that was actually your first choice. Woman Artistic or Logic?Look at the dancer. What do you see? Is she turning clockwise or counter-clockwise? You just can’t help but love these optical illusions. If you see her turning clockwise (right) then your left side of the brain is doing most of the work, which means you are more of a logic/analyzing person. If you see the dancer turning counter-clockwise (left) then your right side of the brain is in charge, this means you are the artistic/intuition person. You control the way the dancer turns. Try looking at this with a few more people and see how everyone sees it different.
