The Kids Should See This – There’s millions of videos on the internet. And if you’ve got young kids, I’m sure you’ll have had the same fear as many of us, that the large majority of those videos were not made for kids… and those are the ones your kids will see.
Well this brilliant collection set outs out videos – as dramatically and purposefully as we’ve seen any Tumblr blog set out by the way – that were not made for kids. Or were they…
Rion Nakaya and her four year old child (or “co-curator”) put it very clearly. They don’t underestimate kids. They know there’s a ton of cool videos about science, nature, music, art, technology, storytelling etc out there that weren’t made for kids, but that kids would really benefit from seeing. It’s quite a breath of fresh air to find a blog that’s devotes it’s time to educating kids about the wider world, with videos they wouldn’t have experienced otherwise because they weren’t targeted to them. So gather up your kids and click here. Trust us, they’ll learn something and get cooler at the same time 🙂
This is the latest video on The Kids Should See This. Watch dolphins making air bubbles in the water and playing with them. Cool huh? 🙂
