When one thinks about winter skiing, Japan doesn’t usually come to mind. However japan has some of the most beautiful skiing east of the Alps. Not only are the ski resorts world class, but their proximity to Tokyo allow you to explore one of the worlds coolest cities. Many of the resorts are no more than a 90-minute day trip away from the city center, allowing for a combination of urban and rural exploration. Take a look at this beautiful country here
