Barely beating out The Vail Ski Resort in Colorado for spot #5 on our list is Borovets Mountain in Bulgaria. Borovets has great powder skiing during the day, but its nightlife is one of its biggest claims to fame. The Base of the mountain is teeming with discos and bars. You can enjoy the finest Bulgarian beers here after a long day of shredding powder, or try the national alcoholic drink called Rakia.
