Docady is a free service that organizes and categorizes all of your personal documents for you.
Docady is a free mobile app for managing your life’s most important documents. Passports, birth certificates, financial documents and medical documents all can be uploaded to the app. The app stores all of its files in a cloud-based server. Although it may seem risky to have a centralized online location where you store all of your files, using Docady does make keeping track of those documents much more manageable. The app also has intuitive features that help you regulate your information, such as reminders when you need to renew your passport or driver’s license. This makes Docady a type of digital personal assistant, storing your files but reminding you how and when you need to use them, too.
Docady is an effective app primarily because of its simple functionality. The app uses your mobile device’s camera to capture images of documents. After an image is taken, Docady adjusts the sizing and stores the document on the app, essentially acting as a scanner. Files can be quickly organized into one of Docady’s many categories, including personal, financial, medical, car, and employment. There’s also the option to add multiple members under one Docady account, so that families or groups can keep track of everyone’s most important information from the same location. There are certainly security questions to be raised by Docady, but the quality service it offers is undeniable. For easy, well-organized document management, this is the app to use.
