Prismatic is the home for all your interests. Follow people and over 10,000 different interests to stay in touch with everything you care about.
Prismatic organizes all of your interests into a single app, making it easier to discover information about your favorite topics, activities and hobbies while connecting with similar individuals. The amount of interests hosted on the app are innumerable, and they range from “baking” to “rock climbing” and “indie rock.” Anything you’re interested in can be found on Prismatic, and it’s easy to follow the topics that you most enjoy. The app works similarly to other social networks in that you can browse through various topics which include pictures, text and links to external articles. If you’re interested in the aforementioned baking category, for instance, you’ll definitely be able to find a wide variety of recipes on Prismatic, complete with photographs of whatever it is you’re cooking up.
The app also includes personal profiles, so you can connect with and follow other users that have similar interests. Users can add unlimited interests to their own profiles, and you can follow or unfollow those users similar to social networks such as Twitter. Prismatic is also designed for users to share their own likes from within the app. If you like a specific type of food at a restaurant, for instance, Prismatic encourages you to say so via the app. This declaration of your interest can then be viewed by other users, who can comment to continue the discussion of a shared topic. The app also integrates well with Twitter, Facebook and email, so you don’t have to worry about posting something multiple times across various social media sites. Prismatic certainly has the potential to overtake other social media apps as the optimal sharing app because it focuses specifically on mutual interests.
