Rocksbox sends members a box filled with three pieces of high-end jewelry as often as they’d like for as cheap as $15/month.
Rocksbox sends customers a personalized box of designer jewelry in an ulimited supply, starting at $15 per month. The service allows people to try out different looks without having to commit to the full-price of a specific pair of jewelry. The way it works is by asking users to fill out a profile explaining their jewelry and fashion tastes and styles. This profile can be constantly updated to fit new lifestyle needs, but as soon as a user fills her first one out the company sends her a box containing a variety of designer jewelry. The box always consists of three pieces of jewelry, at an average value of over $200 per set.
While it may seem like individuals wouldn’t want to use the service in case they might become attached to them, Rocksbox users always have the option to buy one of the pieces from their set. That way users can send back the pieces that they don’t like or simply don’t want to have around forever. They can also keep and continue wearing the pieces that they truly do like, at a 20% discount courtesy of Rocksbox. Although the membership fee is monthly, Rocksbox users can exchange their jewelry set as often as they want, and shipping is free both ways. At $15 per month for 12 months, this truly isn’t a bad deal. Rocksmith members can try out unlimited amounts of high-end jewelry without ever paying the actual cost. There are also shorter commitment time frames, but those come with higher costs. The 6-month plan costs $17 per month and the monthly plan is $19 each month. Members are likely to pay more than $180 for a nice piece of jewelry, so paying that much to try out tons of pieces is definitely worth it.
