24 Hours of Reality allows you to watch highlights from the annual show and find out how you are paying the #CostofCarbon.
24 Hours of Reality is a live-streamed multimedia change dedicated to spreading climate change awareness. The show, which has taken place over the course of two days each year for the past three years, features a variety of speakers and climate change experts discussing the impact of carbon emissions on various locations throughout the world. Although the show was originally streamed live, the site has all of these filmed segments available to be viewed at your convenience. The main priority of the site is to explain “the cost of carbon,” letting individuals know the exact impact carbon emissions have on the world, and what the future of the planet will look like if we continue with our current habits.
The 24 Hours of Reality site also has a built in carbon emissions calculator, which helps you determine how much you are negatively contributing to climate change. 
The calculator not only determines your cost of carbon, but also gives you tips on how you can reduce carbon emissions and begin changing your personal lifestyle in order to better benefit the planet. The site is sponsored by The Climate Reality Project, a nonprofit organization founded by Al Gore (who you can also watch talking about climate change in the documentary An Inconvenient Truth). The site is designed in order to encourage individuals to take the initiative to take action now for the environment, as well as to encourage politicians and other global leaders to follow suit. 24 Hours of Reality also has a comprehensive list of community events designed to spread awareness of carbon pollution, and the option to organize your own event if your area does not already have one.
