Extraordinary Challenges is PricewaterhouseCoopers’ new interactive 3D portfolio.
Multinational professional services company PricewaterhouseCoopers has launched a new, interactive portfolio on its website called Extraordinary Challenges. The portfolio explains the company’s work and services through three different visual stories, each of which features an elegant design and a minimalistic backing soundtrack. The site encourages visitors to participate through interactive elements that render 3D animations, like dragging across the screen to make a flight attendant show her trainees how to demonstrate fastening an airline seatbelt. Each of these interactive informations contains a text sidebar that describes an aspect of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ services. The combination of text and visuals explains how PricewaterhouseCoopers can help companies retrain workforces, rethink technology and upgrade infrastructure.
The second Extraordinary Challenges story describes how PricewaterhouseCoopers is beneficial in the health sector. Alongside 3D animations of a surgical operating room, the site describes how it’s using big data analytics to help fight cancer. The story then progresses throughout the rest of the digital hospital to delve into further detail about how big data is being applied to cancer research to solve major issues. The third story goes through the process of auditing a global apparel brand. Even though the Extraordinary Challenges site is an advertisement for a multinational company offering a specific service that might not apply to you, it’s worth viewing for the design alone. Each story is like a mini movie, moving through an incredibly interesting world. It’s a good thing they’re all available to download and share.
