One Today is a Google initiative that makes it easy to donate $1 each day to the charitable cause of your choice.
One Today was built by Google with the intention of making it easy to donate the small amount of $1 each day in order to have a large impact on the charitable causes 
you’re passionate about. The company has created an app — available for both iOS and Android — that makes browsing charities and choosing which ones you want to support as easy as clicking a couple of times (or even less if you integrate your account with Google Wallet). One Today has partnered with a variety of nonprofits and charity organizations, all of whom are members of Google for Nonprofits.
mall Donations, Large ImpactThe most unique aspect of One Today is that it learns which causes and nonprofits are most important to you based on your donation habits. 
The app keeps track of which organizations and causes you support, recommending new projects and nonprofits that match the same goals and missions. Although the site encourages individuals to donate $1 on a daily basis, you can also send more money if you challenge your friends to match your donation. Google does extract a 1.9% processing fee, but aside from that all of the donated funds go directly to the nonprofit organizations. Also, everything you donate (if you live in the U.S.) is tax deductible. One Today offers an easy, affordable way to support great causes that will ultimately have a real and beneficial impact on the world.
