TechCrunchTV – TechCrunch needs no introduction. If you’re not familiar with it, that’s a big no-no because they’re only one of the most prominent tech news providers out there. What’s new about TechCrunch however, is their latest addition, the TechCrunchTV site. Watch live news videos or check their huge data base of previous news coverage, interviews with important figures in the tech, Internet and communications industry, and other Silicone Valley movers and shakers. Even if you’re not involved in the technology field, visiting TechCrunchTV every now and then will be rewarding and interesting. See the video below, an interview with JibJab’s Co-founder Greg Spiridellis which I found insightful.
Gdgt – These days, it is getting quite difficult to track down all the info about the endless amount of gadgets that are launched on a practically daily basis. Gdgt is all about providing you with useful, contextual information — both from gdgt and around the Web — to help you get more out of the devices you already own, as well as to help you discover that next great tech toy to add to your collection.
Here is a great deal that I wanted to share with you dedicated readers. (If you are not yet one of our dedicated readers make sure to subscribe to our RSS feed)
One of my favorite newsletter is the one from Buy.com. You can truly find some amazing deals on it.
Only recently I bought myself a Kingston 2GB DataTraveler USB 2.0 Flash Drive for only $16.95 (with Google checkout it comes down to $6.95). Today, my girlfriend asked me to buy her one as well. So I made my way back to Buy.com. While browsing around the site I came across an even better deal.
Kingston 1GB Data Traveler USB 2.0 Flash Drive for only $10.00 (again, with Google checkout it comes down to $00.00!). At this point you are probably asking yourself “where’s the catch?”. Well, there is no catch, shipping is free (available only in the US), Gmail account you probably already have (and if not, it takes only 2 min to sign up). The only thing that I had to pay was a tax fee of $0.72. That’s it.
Decide quick because on the product page it says that there are very few left in stock. You can never have to much memory.
Microsoft has just unveiled a new technology called Microsoft Surface. A Surface computer is able to recognize physical objects from a paintbrush to a cell phone and allows hands-on, direct control of content such as photos, music and maps. Surface turns an ordinary tabletop into a dynamic surface that provides interaction with all forms of digital content through natural gestures, touch and physical objects.
But don’t let me spoil all the fun, there is a great Popular Mechanics video embedded below. Have a look, i think you’ll like it. As well as a couple of great promotional videos on Microsoft Surface website.
