The Spirit of Discovery is an interactive documentary that explores the changing shape of business.
The Spirit of Discovery was created by the Sauder School of Business, a premier international business school located in Vancouver, Canada as part of the University of British Columbia. 
Although the school and its programs are advertised on the site, the stories and ideas hosted by The Spirit of Discovery are free for anyone to browse. There are written articles about particular individuals, as well as video documentary profiles of innovative entrepreneurs. In every format, the focus is on people that are leading the charge in creating unique approaches to business for the modern era. There’s also a focus on business people making a positive impact on society.
Many of the individuals profiled on the Spirit of Discovery are in some way connected with the Sauder School of Business — either as professors or former students. 
There are also more general stories of business success, such as the launch of pen company BIC or the home technology company neurio. There’s also insight into the psychology of innovation — where great business ideas come from, how inspiration can strike and what to do about it.
