FundAnything is a crowdfunding platform co-founded by Donald Trump that lets you raise money for anything with minimal fees involved.
FundAnything is a website that lets you do exactly what it sounds like — raise money for anything you want to raise money for. Some of the current campaigns on the FundAnything homepage include Penn from Penn and Teller’s new movie, as well as a woman that hopes to give her husband a kidney. There’s truly no limit to the projects for which you can raise money. All you have to do is create a campaign on the site and share it with as many people as possible. The site makes it easy to do so, as it links seamlessly with social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook.
FundAnything lets you keep all of the contributions donated by other users around the world. The site does take out a 9% fee, but if you reach your goal, 4% of that money is returned to you. That means that if your campaign is successful, only 5% of the money is given to FundAnything. If your campaign’s not successful, you still get the money (minus the full 9% fee). Not a bad deal. Also, one of the co-founders of FundAnything is billionaire Donald Trump, and he personally has funded several projects on the site. He’s also offering up a $1 Million reward to the first person to break the crowdfunding record, which is currently held by Pebble Watch’s $10,181,000 campaign on Kickstarter.
