Learning a foreign language always seems like a good idea, but it takes some time that many people aren’t willing to put in. Yarn is changing the way we learn a new language by incorporating it into our every day lives.
Knowing a foreign language is a great skills to have whether it be for professional use, a native language or something we decided to learn on our own for fun. But with all the obstacles that stands in our way of learning a new language, Yarn is offering an easier way to learn a foreign language. Yarn is an iPhone app that helps learn vocabulary in a foreign language (any one you could possibly think of) as you read in English. Because learning a new language is incorporated into daily reading, it’s much easier to learn. As you read the material through the app, vocabulary words show up in English. Say you’re reading a document and the word “construction” appears, highlight the word, it will appear in different languages, then pick the one in the right language. It’s like a game, and who doesn’t learn well through games? Yarn is a great way to learn a new language.
