Kotobana transforms your words into flowers.
Kotobana is a design website that puts a twist on Hanakotoba, the Japanese language of flowers. 
In the traditional sense, Hanakotoba uses flowers as symbols to convey words or implied meaning. On Kotobana, words are transformed into depictions of flowers instead. The site’s designers have built a platform that makes this intriguing concept easy for anyone to accomplish. All you have to do is type a word (some words, for some reason, are not allowed by Kotobana), select a font and a color. There are some unusual, Japanese-oriented font choices like Shuriken as well as more traditional options like Futura or Helvetica.
The color options on Kotobana are also unique, with names like “sunset red,” “spring pink” and “dusk purple.” 
The color of each individual letter of your word is also fully customizable, and you can drag the “r,” “g,” and “b” sliders in order to find the exact tone that you’re looking for. Once everything has been tailored especially to your vision, simply click “draw” and the letters of your word are rearranged in the formation of a flower. Kotobana integrates with all the major sharing platforms — Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus and Pinterest — and you can also download the image of your flower or post it to the site’s gallery. Because each flower is unique, the gallery consists of tons of awesome designs that are worth exploring.
