Valentine’s Day – A Celebration of Love!

BlueMountain – According to the Greeting Card Association, an estimated one billion valentine cards are sent each year, making Valentine’s Day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year (an estimated 2.6 billion cards are sent for Christmas.) Here’s an interesting fact: approximately 85 percent of all valentine cards are purchased by women. Seen as we are part of the digital revolution, why not act true to the online tradition and send a Valentine’s e-Card? BlueMountain is my personal favorite e-cards provider, but these are just as useful: Hallmark, 123Greetings, Someecards, JibJab, Care2 and Flowers2Mail.

Valentine’s Day Complete Guide – Every February candy, flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones across the country, all in the name of St. Valentine. But who is this mysterious saint and why do we celebrate this holiday? The History.com website has prepared an interesting and thorough Valentine’s Day special page that includes The History of Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Videos, Love Quotes and much more.

Gifts for Her/Him – Any time is a good time for love but February 14 remains a particularly important date for the celebration of love. Surprise your loved ones by buying something special just for them. Gifts for her/him can be an excellent starting point.
