One & Other – This summer, sculptor Antony Gormley is creating an astounding living monument. He has gathered people from all over the UK to occupy the empty Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square in London, a space normally reserved for statues of kings and generals. In each and every hour for 100 days (24/7), a different person will make the Plinth his or her own. The chosen individuals will become an image of themselves, and a representation of humanity as a whole. This is a simple yet extremely clever idea. I just love the oddness of this artistic project, don’t you?
