Nimbuzz – I’m sure you have at least one of these social tools on your computer: Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, GoogleTalk, AIM, Facebook and MySpace. Wouldn’t it be super helpful and easy if you could connect with all your buddies, regardless of the social service type, through one account? Nimbuzz offers just that: a web 2.0 one-stop-shop platform connecting absolutely everyone via one simple account. Use it as a web tool, download it to your PC or use it on your mobile device – this way you will be able to make free calls using your cellular device. All you need is a Wi-Fi connection and you are good to go.
All this sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? – a great simplification tool – for free. What’s the catch, you might wonder. In the case of Nimbuzz, I’m happy to say that, as with each and every site featured on AllMyFaves, users enjoy nothing less than the best free working applications. If this service sounds familiar, you’re right. It is quite similar to fring, which was chosen by our staff as one of the most amazing sites for 2008. Will Nimbuzz make its way into AllMyFaves’ top 2009 list? There is still time for that but I would appreciate it if you could take the time to give it a go (start with the demo below) and let me know what you think about Nimbuzz’s service.
