According to them, their site is “a place to list, rate, tag and review movies, TV shows, music, games and books.” Add the social community and wiki-like user editing features and you have one of the Web’s best resources for entertainment recommendations.

Some of the lists here are practical, as in stuff you’ll enjoy doing such as reading a recommended book, but there are also lists users created just because they can. See what I mean? Overall however, Listal is a great bundle of suggestions for having a good time. I took advantage of their DVD listings page, offering anything from top owned, top wanted DVDs to top tags (genres in this case, and comedy is right at the top), to top rated and top reviewed DVDs.
