Dogster – “Is anything in this world guaranteed? Yes, the only guarantee we have in this life is unconditional love from a dog.” The previous quote describes the essence of Dogster – A site that’s goal is to allow the purest online reflection of people’s love and enjoyment of their dog. Dogster is more than just a pet photo site, with Dogster you shall find answers, recommendations and advice about any pet related questions. In addition you can find local pet businesses, share photos, stories and videos or simply adopt a dog. Into cats? Check their sister site – Catster.

Glassdoor – Have you ever contemplated why it’s so difficult to find helpful information about jobs and workplaces on the net. Glassdoor provides an inside look at what it’s really like to work at a company — ratings, reviews, confidence in senior leadership and salaries. All information comes from the people who know these companies best — The Employees. In the spirit of community, Glassdoor asks the users to share with each other and provide insights of their current or previous employer. Glassdoor helps people look inside a company, through the closed doors and office walls.

Zoomii – Wandering the shelves of bookstores is a lot of fun, you never know which book (actually book cover) will catch your attention. Zoomii is trying to create this experience online by placing the bookstore shelves directly on your screen. The great part is that by creating this platform you can enjoy the great online prices and still keep the wandering experience. Just the smell of the coffee is missing. Additional book related sites that have been featured on our weekly faves include: Lookybook, DailyLit and Shelfari.

Jukebo – Searching for a music video? You would probably pursue your interest by searching YouTube. YouTube is an excellent resource however with JukeBo you can perform the same search but the results will be based on multiple video hosts and in addition the visual appearance of the results is much better. The results are featured by a text list letting you choose from a wider visual variety. One of the best features is the World Charts featuring the top clips of about 20 countries, it is nice to see what is number 1 in other countries. While browsing the site I have discovered an excellent video by Fat Boy Slim, even if you don’t like Fat Boy Slim, you should … well you must – trust me.

Tesla Motors – Whether you’re more concerned about global warming or about national security, there’s one thing we can probably agree on: the dependence on oil is dangerous and costly. It was just a matter of time before an alternative would be developed. Tesla motors isn’t a hybrid car which is a great solution but still burns gasoline and emits carbon dioxide. Tesla Motors creates highly efficient electric sports cars which are 100% gasoline-free. Tesla Motors first car, the Tesla Roadster, isn’t a pipedream or a plan; this car exists now. It’s a no-compromise driver’s car that does 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 second. With a range of about 220 miles on a single charge, you can use it all day long and not worry you’ll run out of juice. It is just like your cellular – Just plug it in at night and it will be ready for another day of smooth and clean driving. Check this video for a visual proficient understanding of what Tesla Motors is all about.

MoodStream – Moodstream is a powerful brainstorming tool designed to help take you in inspiring, unexpected directions. Whether you want images, footage or audio, or just need a stream of fresh ideas, tweak the Moodstream sliders to bring a whole new creative palette straight to you.

Ind.ecisions – Never worry about making those difficult decisions again, just pick how many options you need to decide between (2,3,6) fill in your choices and roll the dice. No more worries, instant decision! Think of it as rolling a virtual-dice and then using the number rolled to help you make a difficult decision. So shall I make AllMyFaves my homepage or not, in this case no dice is needed – Do It!

Wimbledon 2008 – The Wimbledon Championship began in 1877 and is the oldest tennis championship in the world (four years older than the US Open). Wimbledon is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments and is considered the most important and prestige one. Over the last 20 years the courts of the All England Club have been graced by some of the sport’s greatest and most exciting players. In 1980 Bjorn Borg of Sweden became the first player to win the Gentlemen’s Singles five times in succession since the 1880s. In 1985, Boris Becker became the youngest player, the first unseeded player and the first German to win the Gentlemen’s Singles. In 1987 Martina Navratilova of the United States became the first player to win the Ladies’ Singles six times in succession and in 1990 attained the all-time record of nine victories in the event. Pete Sampras of the United States registered his seventh win in 2000. In 2001, Goran Ivanisevic became the first wildcard to win the Gentlemen’s Singles. In 2007 Roger Federer equaled Borg’s record of 5 consecutive victories. Will Roger brake Bjorn’s record and win 6 consecutive victories? Will Serena win her third or maybe it shall be Venus that will win her fifth?
