DashDash teaches HTML, CSS, and Javascript through fun projects you can do in your browser.

It’s What You Make It

DashGeneral Assembly has a launched a new online service that teaches basic web development for free, in your own browser. Introducing Dash, Dash allows users to learn how to use HTML, Javascript, and CSS by working through projects. The projects become progressively difficult helping users learn and master new skills. Users start by creating small and personal (and fake) websites before eventually moving onto coding. As users move through each step of learning, they’ll complete checkpoints helping with engagement, and with each checkpoint, a new skill is learned. Dash isn’t as intensive as some other learning programs are, but it’s designed more to produce immediate results for coding so users can get going. Users can also use Dash anywhere, at home on a desktop or on a mobile device. Dash is free to use after users sign up. If you’re ready to start coding, then Dash is too.
