Moving apartments can be one of the most painful, stressful things you can do, and that’s coming from my current personal experience! Most of my friends also sharing such experiences haven’t heard of ApartmentList, and even right now, are probably undertaking the thankless task of trawling through grainy pictures from shady profiles on Craigslist. But thanks to this All My Faves discovery, their apartment search is about to get a whole lot easier!
ApartmentList is the self-proclaimed “world’s first apartment matching engine”: a free service designed to help you find the perfect apartment by using Facebook integration to automatically personalize apartment recommendations, based on yours and your friends’ activities. It asks you questions to narrow down your type of lifestyle to the area and type of apartment you may want, and then sends you the recommendations from its huge database of over 1 million listings.
