The application, although not revolutionary, is a reliable way to quickly check the weather and can save you a trip upstairs to get your umbrella because you were unaware it was actually raining. This application is as basic as it gets: Swipe to the left to find the weather for a new location. Tap and drag downward for the 3-day forecast, swipe up for the next 24 hour forecast, and swipe left and right to tap different tiles. Navigation made simple.

Solar: Weather is not nearly as comprehensive as other mobile weather applications such as WeatherBug which provides even more information detailing various weather patterns, highs and lows, and even the windchill.
