On rare occasions natural and human forces collide in a spectacular way to provoke disaster and change the world forever. These are history’s Perfect Storms.
A teaser site for History Channels new series, Perfect Storms, depicts the wildest, most destructive storms in our planets History. On the website, you can play scenarios of a few major storms, check out facts about how these earthquakes, fire tornadoes (FIRE TORNADOES!?!), and hurricanes form, or simply look up when the next episode is.
After you’ve witnessed the destruction of the Mayans, Texas, and Tokyo Perfect Storms allows you to see what it would be like if a fire storm hit your street! Using Images from Google Earth, a scenario is generated in any address you enter. Weather is (for the most part) unpredictable, and many great cities are located in dangerous places..It’s an interesting way to see what a natural disaster would look like in your neighborhood.
