The New Yorker writers have taken a look back at everything that made 2014 a year to remember. Their year in review is broken into different categories that we would normally expect to see: celebrities, movies, sports, books, etc. But there are also some categories left off of most lists including: best portraits, cultural moments, legal battles, and much more.
