Editing your own movies can be tough, and filming them makes things even harder. Now with Mixbit creating movies are as easy as the touch of a button.
Mixbit is a video app that allows you to not only record video, but allows you to film clips and then edit them in whatever way you see fit. All you have to do is press and hold to record and use some creativity to make your masterpiece. Clips can be as short as a millisecond or as long 15 seconds. However, your entire video can be many minutes of video footage. You can duplicate clips, crop them, or even rearrange them in a different order than how you recorded them. It’s almost like a mini editing studio…but easily accessed and produced right on your phone.
The beautiful thing about Mixbit (besides the easy-to-use interface) is that anyone can use it. The app was created by the guys that came up with YouTube (yep, the notorious Steve Chen and Chad Hurley…), so you know that the product is going to be very user friendly. You don’t have to be a professional video editor, and you certainly don’t need to have an agenda. You can take videos of your friends making goofy faces, or you can be the next Rachel Ray and create a cooking show. The possibilities are endless. So if you have a video that you want others to see, you can share on Facebook, Twitter, or you can just save it to your phone. It’s fun, it’s free, and best of all…it’s so simple 5 year olds are doing it. Seriously 5 year olds have their own channels. So if you want to create videos whether you’re a beginner or an expert, Mixbit is perfect for you.
