Intense Coverage by Intense Enthusiasts

Doesn’t it suck to be the only one of your friends who’s obsessed with a certain show, book or movie? No one seems to “get” you (yes it IS a big deal with Sherlock is still alive, and a Hunger Games theme park is an awesome idea). Hypable covers every aspect of your favorite fandoms; providing reviews, news articles, and entertaining features. They cater to all audiences by covering a range of tastes, include teen-targetted Pretty Little Liars and Twilight, to more sophisticated preferences like Newsroom and Mad Men. The content is always captivating and thorough because the authors are fellow enthusiasts. The site’s strongest fandom is Harry Potter because Hypable itself was conceived while they were running Muggle Net, the #1 Harry Potter site. If you’ve ever met a Harry Potter enthusiast, you know this means Hypable understands even the most extreme fans (no offense).

After exploring the site, it’s obvious why the content is so good: The authors are truly passionate about what they’re writing about. They get paid to be obsessed with their favorite shows, movies, and books. I love their wide variety of content, because while they have extensive news coverage, they also have articles purely for entertainment, like 10 rom-coms to restore your faith in humanity, and an epic battle between the Twilight and Game of Thrones books. My one criticism about the site is that they should have tabs for each fandom to filter by recap, news story or editorial. As of now, everything is listed in reverse chronological order, and you have to go through the pages to find what you’re looking for. Other than that, Hypable is every fanatic’s dream. As a TV expert, I’m always looking for sites dedicated to my sport, and Hypable is a great option. Where can I send my résumé?
