Wanderio lets you plan your complete trip, literally from doorstep to doorstep. They compare all methods of transportation including flights, ferries, and trains, to get you to your destination in the best way possible.
The most complicated (and expensive) part of planning your trip is usually just getting to your destination before you can start the adventure. I say this with complete confidence after spending countless hours on travel sites comparing prices and routes. Wanderio is similar to Kayak and Expedia, but takes transportation planning to completely new level. Instead of just entering your starting and ending city, you enter your exact starting address and destination address. Wanderio then plans your entire journey from start to end, which includes a combination of busses, trains, and flights. You can then narrow your options down by price, travel duration, and even CO2 emission (for those of us who are concerned with being environmentally friendly). They have a very straightforward idea: travelling is supposed to be an amazing experience, so why not make the planning part a little less tedious?
Even though Wanderio is best suited for your next Eurotrip, I decided to put them to the test with my Tel Aviv to London trip. After plugging in my starting and ending address, Wanderio took care of the rest by planning my entire travel route for me. They started with the best bus to get to the airport, and ended with the train to take in London when I land. Once I narrowed down the results by price, Wanderio presented me with a list of my best options. I only wish I had known about this site before booking my flights to Asia. They make a headache-inducing experience more simple and tolerable. Unfortunately I also see that my route of choice isn’t the best when it comes to CO2 emissions (sorry, Mother Nature). Once I can afford to do so, I’ll be more environmentally friendly. Until then, I’ll be bargain hunting when planning my trips with Wanderio.
