Known as one of the top sailing destinations of the world, The British Virgin Islands rank #2 on our list. When traveling to these islands, we recommend chartering a sailboat to get the most out of each island and travel at your own pace. What makes these islands so special for sailing in the winter is a constant wind blowing out of the east known as a trade wind. During the winter, more than 300,000 people sail these islands, exploring their magnificence. Our personal favorite activity is the full moon party on Trellis Bay. It consists of a little bit (a lot) of drinking and a fire show like no other on the beach.
