BusBud is an online bus booking site, allowing users to search for the best fares on routes between thousands of cities. Unlike Wanderu, which offers a comparable service, BusBud is not limited to routes in North America. In fact, the site hosts schedules in 89 countries, across several different continents. On the site’s homepage, it lists sample fares such as $1 USD from Miami to Orlando or $24 USD from Sao Paulo to Rio De Janeiro. These are extremely cheap prices for travel between those cities, especially as travelers typically look to book flights or trains before investigating bus fare.

The site works similar to booking services such as Kayak in that it has users type in their beginning and end destination as well as the date(s) of travel. BusBud then returns a list of all of the potential bus lines serving that route, with exact times of pick up and drop off. The site also lists the trip duration, as well as the cost and how many seats are left on a particular ride. Some routes can be booked entirely through the BusBud site, while other routes take users to third-party booking sites. The site also has a clean design that helps ease the stress associated with booking travel between cities.
