Strava uses GPS technology to help take your training to the next level.
Strava keeps detailed statistics for runners and cyclists. Download the app to any device with GPS and take it on your next outing. Strava will take detailed measurements of your pace throughout the session. Your data will be stored in your account, so you can compare your times and heart rates with the old you to see how you’ve improved! If you don’t want to carry your device during your training, you can manually enter your route and time online.
Strava has built in some cool social (and motivational) elements into its app. If you’re looking for new scenery you can check Strava to see where other users run or cycle. You can even see their times! Strava also provides Challenges to keep you chasing the next challenge. Follow your friends’ times in a 10K or a tough mountain route. Leaderboards show you how you stack up against the other exercise junkies around the world. Think you’ve got what it takes? It’s a global community of people as crazy as you are!
