Purple Clover is a website directed toward the baby boomer generation that allows you to read articles and short stories on various topics, join a boomers community, and go on dates.
Purple Clover posts short stories and articles about every part of life you can think of, from relationships to money to entertainment. While the website and articles on it are directed towards people who are “young at heart,” and there are quite a few posts about aging, I found many articles such as “This I Know” and “Youth Is Wasted on the Wrong People,” that were of interest to me and I got lost in the site for quite a long time! Another feature of this site is their partnership with online dating website, “How About We.” You can create a profile via Purple Clover rather than going directly to the website.
Using Purple Clover is free, but there are benefits to joining the site. Once you join, you can start posting on the Community page. The Community feature allows everyone to post a short story of their own and provides a forum for members to post questions and receive responses about whatever topic they choose. While not everyone can be a paid contributor to the website, it provides a place for readers to explore their creative side. Reading the posts on the community page does not require you to log in, but posting does. Another benefit to creating a login is the ability to comment on the short stories and articles posted by the staff at Purple Clover and the ability to favorite posts. It’s an amazing platform and community for baby boomers, but can easily be your lifestyle destination, no matter your age.
