The Hunt is a community that finds items you covet but don’t know where to find, just post a photo of it and the community will track it down for you.
The idea behind The Hunt is very simple; if you see anything you like you take a picture of it, add a short description and start a hunt. Now everyone in the community will see your item, and if they know a place that has it, or something similar to it, they will share the link and image with you. Now it’s up to you to decide if you like the result or not. If you do, end the hunt and reward the finder with a gem. If not let the hunt continue until you do. This community is open to everyone and any member can start their own hunt and solve other members’ hunts by adding finds.
People can start a hunt to create a designer look for less, to complete a look from a photo, to find similar products, to locate an exact product, etc. These reasons make sense. But why would someone spend precious time researching for someone else’s craves? Solving hunts is described by members as fun, rewarding, validating, and challenging. Those that solve particularly LOVE earning gems, perfects and getting thanks via comments from the happy people who started the hunt. It is an entertaining way to spend downtime and rather then playing other games, people are actually playing on The Hunt when they’re not at work or school. The community thrives on consistent give and take. So instead of shooting bubbles, try The Hunt and play the ultimate searching game where winning means you made someone happy.
