AskAlll allows users to ask any type of question to the community and see responses immediately. Users can also answer questions posted by other community members based on their interests.
The Site Where Your Opinion Actually Matters
Whether you’re looking for an opinion on what to wear to a wedding, or which show most people prefer, AskAlll is the right forum. There are two parts to the site: asking questions and answering them. AskAlll allows anyone to post essentially any question and get accurate responses. The answers can then be filtered by gender and age to get a deeper understanding of what the numbers mean. There is no topic off limits, and users are free to answer questions about topics they are most fascinated by. I answered some T.V. related questions to find that I was almost always in the majority (well Walter White is the better anti-hero compared to Dexter Morgan). Once you convince your friends to join the site, you can ask private questions and get honest answers by allowing them to answer anonymously, because maybe your friends don’t want to tell you in person that the dress isn’t wedding appropriate.
The Potential
As of now, most of the questions posted are curiosity driven to see how your opinion matches up with other users. AskAlll has much more potential than that. Once more people start to register for the service, it can be a useful platform for businesses. AskAlll’s question format allows for more than basic “yes” and “no” questions, so companies could see how satisfied their customers are, and what should be changed or improved. Within businesses, AskAlll also promotes their service as a good place to discreetly brainstorm as a team. The site is still in the growth phase, and for people asking questions to get an accurate opinion, they might need to wait for AskAlll’s user base to grow to get more meaningful numbers. Right now, less than 100 responses isn’t a great sample size (which is around what I observed), but once this service catches on, AskAlll has a lot of promise.
