The site also works with young innovators, allowing designers that might not have the resources or platform to sell their products create things more quickly. Because Milkster works directly with designers, the site cuts out the middle men that typically make the process of getting a product from creator to consumer lengthier and more costly.

The front page of featured items contains saucepans, porcelain jugs, candleholders, teapot sets, and several other unique home items. While all of these items are browsable from Milkster’s homepage, the site’s most unique characteristic is the page entitled “FIRSTEDITION.” All of the items featured on the First Edition page are the first run of the product. This gives consumers a unique chance to fund designers that might otherwise not be able to release their products. 
Each item contains a story about the creation of the product, specific details and a section where prospective buyers can ask questions. Each of these First Edition products come with a limited amount of items as well as a certain time limit to make a purchase. The site also does a great job at featuring designers, as well as connecting designers and innovators with consumers that want great products. Plus, the site’s design is as sleek as the products offered, making browsing Milkster an enjoyable experience.
