Snowball: All Your Messages In One Place

Snowball shows your messages from Facebook, Snapchat, WhatsApp, SMS and all other social apps in one place.

All Your Messages in One Place

Snowball is an Android app that organizes all of the messages you receive across all social media channels into one feed. The app syncs with Facebook, WhatsApp, and Snapchat, as well as your phone’s SMS capabilities. It also works with Twitter, Slack, Line and the majority of other social apps that have some sort of messaging functionality. The idea is to free up the clutter of apps you may have on your phone’s home screen, reducing it all to one, all-encompassing messaging platform. In theory, this makes sense, although there’s something nice about being able to send different friends different types of messages across different social apps.

A Universal Inbox for Social Messaging

Snowball does still display which messaging app you’re using from within Snowball’s interface at any given time, the only difference is that they’re all accessible from the same location. The feed of messages is also standardized, except for a small icon indicating which messaging platform was used. If you don’t want to access the app from a traditional icon on the home screen, Snowball also has a floating icon that opens the app with one tap. This allows you to more quickly and conveniently read and respond to messages sent to you at any time, in any form.
