Signals is a free online tool that allows you to see who opens your emails by giving you real-time notifications when an email is being opened.
Signals is basically a Google Chrome based notification app that tells sales and service representatives when and how to engage leads and customers, showing real-time notifications based on “signals” from emails you’ve sent, your website, your CRM solution and even social media interactions. It integrates with many of the tools that sales and customer service folks use in their day to day work – Email clients like Gmail, Google Apps, Outlook, and Outlook.com, Salesforce and Nimble CRM, and HubSpot’s all in one inbound marketing software platform.
Though Signals was made to help marketers follow up with their leads and customers more efficiently and more effectively by always keeping them on top of things, it also has a free edition which allows users to see who has read the e-mails they send from Outlook and Gmail, using it will make sure no one can tell you they haven’t read your mail because you’ll know they did! 😉 The free version is restricted to 200 notifications a month so if you’re a normal internet user it should be more then enough. It’s fun and free, so I see no reason why you shouldn’t give it a try.
